Endowments
Transitions has recently opened an Endowment Fund with the Inland Northwest Community Foundation. This fund will provide income to the four programs of Transitions in the future.
Will you help us build this fund? Your gifts to the endowment will provide long lasting security for the future. Gifts can be made in the form of cash, securities, or real property. It is all up to you.
Each year, Transitions will receive 4% of the fund value. If the fund makes more than 4%, that amount is reinvested in the fund, creating a larger pool of funds from which to draw in subsequent years. While this is a conservative approach, this produces a stable fund which provides support for the programs despite fluctuations in investment returns.
